Songwriter and luthier Jeffrey M. Kelly sings from the heart with a narrative that is both incredibly personal yet relatable to many. Much like his migration from the outskirts of Boston in his youth to his current residence in the Driftless Area of Minnesota, Kelly's songs reflect the ebbs and flows of time, growth, and the human experience.

Over the years Jeffrey's music has gone through many transformative iterations, from gritty full band rock, intimate jazz trios, and folk rock, to what is now a more refined catalogue of storyteller-meets-artistry, best described as a soulful Americana experience.

Jeffrey just recently finished tracking a new 8-song EP with Nashville's renowned Doghouse Studios. The new album should make its way to the world in the early months of 2023.

Kelly, an International Endorsed Artist with Stonebridge Guitars, has shared stages with such acts as Ben Folds, Lera Lynn, Joe Pug, The Wild Reeds, Arlo McKinley, Gaelic Storm, Red Wanting Blue, among many other notable acts. Jeffrey has also performed in many regional festivals including Mile of Music and Midwest Music Fest in Wisconsin and Virginia Ave Folk Fest in Indiana.

""He's quickly become one of the best songwriters in our city, combining passionate vocals with throat-punching honesty in his lyrics. His live performances, whether solo or full band, are almost religious experiences conjuring spirits that will surely alter how people view our local music scene. I honestly believe his best music is yet to come." - skybluewindow.org

Jeff Kelly is a guitarist, singer and songwriter who has been hailed as "combining passionate vocals with throat-punching honesty in his lyrics. His live performances, whether solo or full band, are almost religious experiences" -skybluewindow.org

"When it comes to Jeff Kelly, it is best to think of already established Americana songwriters in the vein of Matthew Ryan, Dustin Kensrue, Joe Pug and Jason Isbell. Kelly came out firing on all cylinders tonight in the final performance spot. Coming after 3rd Eye Soul Band, one might have expected an energy letdown from a one-man acoustic act. That did not happen, as his was a performance easily described as fiery." - Nuvo
